Unanticipated Change
Sometimes the Lord hits you with a change that you would have never anticipated.
Sometimes, those changes shake you down to your core.
Sometimes, those changes leave you cold and exhausted.
Sometimes, the Lord hits you with a change you aren't prepared to handle.
I can't tell you what this change is yet. Because it isn't my news to share. I have no control of it. But I can tell you this:
I already know come May 16, 2015, my world is going to forever be changed. I know I am going to be separated from my friends. I know I am going to have to find an apartment. I know I am going to be on my own for the first time. I know and have known that all of these changes are coming.
This change I didn't know was coming.
And my heart is broken. And I wish I could tell you why. Because right now I just want someone to come and sit with me and to help me work through all that's on my heart. Right now, all I can do is write this and wait and hope that this change doesn't really happen. Wishful thinking, I think.
